The Bible:
The Bible contains no mistakes. It is GOD’s WORDS to HIS people. It was written by individuals just like you and I who were inspired
by GOD, tested by GOD and proven by GOD. The Bible is history, but will always be very relevant to the day and time we live in. It will never be out dated or not be pertinent to our lives. If we apply GOD’s WORD (the Bible) to our lives there is nothing that can stop us from being at peace within ourselves, happy with our lives and successful in everything we do.
Philippians 3:10-13 “I'm glad in GOD, far happier than you would ever guess—happy that you're again showing such strong concern for me. Not that you ever quit praying and thinking about me. You just had no chance to show it. Actually, I don't have a sense of needing anything personally. I've learned by now to be quite content whatever my circumstances. I'm just as happy with little as with much, with much as with little. I've found the recipe for being happy whether full or hungry, hands full or hands empty. Whatever I have, wherever I am, I can make it through anything in the One who makes me who I am.” (The Message Bible)
GOD the Creator:
GOD who is our heavenly Father started it all. He is the Mastermind of the universe. Only He can make something from nothing (not an inventor but a creator) by His spoken Words. “And GOD said, “Let there be light and light was”! Genesis 1:3
JESUS the CHRIST:
JESUS was in the beginning of creation. HE is the “SON” part of the triune GODHEAD (FATHER, SON, HOLY SPIRIT). GOD’s spoken WORDS were made into flesh (JESUS) as we are. HE became our SAVIOR. HE serves as our LORD, our advocate, and our overcoming and soon coming KING. JESUS CHRIST – CHRIST is not HIS last name but identifies HIM as the Anointed One/The Messiah. It is the official title of our LORD and defines HIM as ordained and consecrated to HIS great redemptive work as PROPHET, PRIEST, AND KING of HIS people. HE is JESUS the CHRIST.
Our salvation is by and through JESUS the CHRIST alone. HIS life on earth, death, burial and resurrection is the foundation of our access and new creation (born again) experience.
1 Corinthians 15:13-15 “If there's no resurrection, there's no living Christ. And face it—if there's no resurrection for Christ, everything we've told you is smoke and mirrors, and everything you've staked your life on is smoke and mirrors. Not only that, but we would be guilty of telling a string of barefaced lies about God, all these affidavits we passed on to you verifying that God raised up Christ—sheer fabrications, if there's no resurrection.” (The Message Bible)
The Comforter:
The COMFORTER aka HOLY SPIRIT, aka HOLY GHOST is the third part of the triune GODHEAD. HIS role is the ENFORCER or the ENABLER WHO shows us GOD’s ways and strengthens us to make the right choices and decisions.
HE does not make the choice for us but always shows us which way to go, if we listen to HIM.
John 14:26 “The Friend, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send at my request, will make everything plain to you. He will remind you of all the things I have told you. I'm leaving you well and whole. That's my parting gift to you.”
Acts 1:8 ”But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
The Body of CHRIST:
The BODY OF CHRIST is a collective group of people who no one can tell how many make up the entire number. It is comprised of people from every walk of life, nation, heritage, rich, poor, educated, uneducated, sick, healthy, and everyone in between. To become a member of the BODY OF CHRIST one must believe in and accept its founder and the savior of the world JESUS the CHRIST.
Our goal as a collective Body is to represent FATHER GOD to the world who does not know or understand who HE is. We should be an example of JESUS becoming a great influence in the lives of our families and friends, our communities, our schools, our work, and yes, especially the organizations identified as the church. We are to transcend our society as light transcends darkness. We should make a difference in every aspect of life and every race of people. We should set the standard for others to follow by showing unconditional LOVE, not tolerance of wrongdoing, but embracing the person and not necessarily their acts.
1 Corinthians 12:12-13 ”You can easily enough see how this kind of thing works by looking no further than your own body. Your body has many parts—limbs, organs, cells—but no matter how many parts you can name, you're still one body. It's exactly the same with Christ. By means of his one Spirit, we all said good-bye to our partial and piecemeal lives. We each used to independently call our own shots, but then we entered into a large and integrated life in which he has the final say in everything. (This is what we proclaimed in word and action when we were baptized.) Each of us is now a part of his resurrection body, refreshed and sustained at one fountain—his Spirit—where we all come to drink. The old labels we once used to identify ourselves—labels like Jew or Greek, slave or free—are no longer useful. We need something larger, more comprehensive”. (The Message Bible)
